Portage Township Trustee, Brendan Clancy, is proud to announce that his office was approved to receive an Indiana Dunes Tourism Matching Grant for the Portage Township Summerfest coming this June 13th through the 16th. The 2nd Annual Summerfest is a family-friendly festival, “Always on Father’s Day Weekend”, that offers ongoing entertainment on the main stage, plus a family stage filled with talented performers from our local community. A carnival, food vendors, craft and commercial booths, and interactive activities are slated for kids of all ages!
The festival is to raise funds for the continued growth and development of the Portage Township Parks Department and to bring family fun entertainment into our own neighborhood parks. Portage Township Summerfest is located at beautiful Haven Hollow Park, 330 W. 700N in South Haven.
