Food and Craft vendor applications are available for Portage TOWNSHIP Department of Parks and Recreation’s 1st Annual Portage Township SummerFest on Saturday & Sunday, June 16th and 17th, 2012 at Haven Hollow Park (330 W. 700 N., Valparaiso, IN 46385) in South Haven.
Some of the great musical entertainers at the festival performing on the main stage include; Sean West and the Poets & Pirates (America’s #1 “Kenny Chesney Tribute Band” and the nationally renowned Junes Got the Cash (Celebrating the Music of Johnny Cash and June Carter). A family tent will also present local talents and family-fun entertainment. Other festival features include; kids’ games, inflatable rides, vendor booths, beer garden & more!
The festival is a fundraising initiative to raise money for the growth and development of Haven Hollow and Field of Dreams Parks in South Haven, Indiana. Portage TOWNSHIP Department of Parks and Recreation is dedicated to fostering the well-being of the Portage Township community by; engaging families in healthy recreation, stimulating community pride, and instilling values of natural preservation and a healthier, ‘greener’ living for all.
