Portage TOWNSHIP Department of Parks & Recreation is now accepting sign-ups for women’s and men’s softball leagues on the Fessler Fields at Haven Hollow Park (330 W. 700 N., Valparaiso, IN 46385). Women’s League begins Monday, May 14th and Men’s League on Tuesday, May 15th at 6p.
League Details:
- Women’s League: 12 weeks/12 games, on Mondays, $425 per team.
- Men’s League: 8 weeks/16games, on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, $475 per team.
- Teams will purchase their own balls from the Township Parks Dept.
Pick-up rosters at Portage Township Trustee’s Office at 3484 Airport Road, Portage, IN 46368. Deadline to sign up is May 1st, 2012 at 3pm.
Team Captains have a mandatory meeting scheduled on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the South Haven Fire Department (398 W. 700 N., Valparaiso, IN 46385). Scott Williams, League Director, will review league and park rules, accept final rosters and payments.
