Jones Elementary
The Thursday before Fall Break, Jones Elementary's Title One hosted a Bingo for Books night. The 135 in attendance enjoyed Site Word Bingo, prizes, Cici's pizza, and a special appearance from Clifford the Big Red Dog. A fun time was had by all!
Kyle Elementary
Mrs. Bev Mundt's 1st gr. class went on a Fall walk and they were motivated to learn all about the sights, smells and taste of what Fall weather brings.
Myers Elementary
Students in the first grade have been working hard on mastering the identification of coins and long and short vowels. We have been working on learning about coins through several hands on activities where students get to handle coins to recognize the attributes of each coin.
Saylor Elementary
Saylor students in Miss Leverich's Kindergarten, and Mr. Woolever's 5th grade classes got together for a game of Reading Buddies Scavenger Hunt. Students were paired up and instructed to go to different classrooms, and find something that started with the letter they were assigned. Some very creative items were found and shared!
