Saylor Elementary
During the month of February, we held the "Saylor has a Heart for Animals" drive, and collected supplies for a local wildlife rescue. We are thankful for every donation that was brought in to support the Moraine Ridge Wildlife Rescue. The Rescue takes care of injured or orphaned wildlife, until they can be returned to their natural habitat. 1st grade students collected the most items for the drive, so they were visited by Miss Stephanie from the Rescue. Students were able to see and hear the stories of a Screech Owl, a Salamander named Sheldon and two box turtles. It was a wonderful experience!

PHS Pi Day
Sophomore students Brandi Hunt, Jared Gunning, Kyle Baugh, and Christian Martinez celebrate PI Day and the new space at PHS West by writing out the first thousand (or so) digits of PI. Alex Miller, another student in the same class, summed things up nicely by pointing out how “irrational” it is to write all of that only to erase it at the end of the day!
