Attention Beatles fans! Portage Township Live Entertainment Association (PTLEA), a non-profit organization, will host its Fundraiser Event, an "AMERICAN ENGLISH COMPLETE BEATLES TRIBUTE SHOW," on Friday September 20, 2019, 7:30 p.m., at Portage High School West Auditorium, located on 6450 U.S. Highway 6, in Portage, Indiana! Tickets are anticipated to sell fast, so purchasing tickets early is highly recommended!

American English has been touted as simply the best Beatles tribute story of our time, voted "number one" by thousands of Beatles fans as winners of sound-a-like contests at Beatlefest® for three consecutive years. The band's also won Illinois Entertainer of the Year and have been voted "Best Tribute Band' three of the last four years by their fans in the Chicagoland area. In demand in the States and abroad, American English has shared the stage with many musical headliners, including The Grassroots, The Neville Brothers, Three Dog Night, The Ides of March, Eric Burdon, The Buckinghams, and The Doobie Brothers.

Featuring Jim Irizarry as John Lennon, Eric Michaels as Paul McCartney, James Paul Lynch as  George Harrison, and Tom Gable as Ringo Starr, American English pays tribute to three terrific Beatles music eras-- with costume changes included! To begin this fabulous show, the acclaimed American English band celebrates The Beatles'  Early Years, performing classic favorites such as "She Loves You,"  "Twist and Shout,"  "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and many others. Next, the concert continues with the Psychedelic Era of The Beatles, with selections from the Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour albums .  Then, you'll be transformed to a spectacular musical excursion of the Final Years of The Beatles saga, with moving renditions of songs such as "Hey Jude,"  "Something," and "Let It Be"-- a great and complete Beatles tribute as only American English can perform!

According to Jose Moreno, PTLEA's President,   "The Mission of PTLEA is to foster and encourage public appreciation and expand the knowledge of the Performing Arts in Portage Township and the surrounding areas, and this is our 30th year of proudly serving the community.  PTLEA offers free live music concerts at Founders Square Park and Woodland Park during the summer, with funding assistance from Portage Founders Club and Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce, as well as presenting low-cost  (and free to students!) concerts held at Portage High School and now also indoors at Woodland Park, in the fall and spring. We're asking all who support our live entertainment vision to attend our fundraiser. It will be fun!"
