The Portage Township Education Foundation invites you to attend our fourth annual fundraising event. This year's Wine Tasting and Silent Auction will take place on the evening of April 7, 2011 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Woodland Park in Portage. This event is being generously co-sponsored by the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce.
Join us for a few hours of wine, microbrew, and coffee tasting. Hors d'oeuvres and entertainment will also be provided. We are sure you won't want to miss bidding on many of our live and silent auction items. An appreciation to our founding partners and a tribute to our grant recipients will round out the evening.
Last year, the Foundation raised nearly $18.000 during this event, and was able to award over $11,000 in educational funding. These grants, initiated by teachers, funded innovative projects targeting every grade level and many subjects, and help to positively effect the success of the children of Portage Township Schools.
