Registration for the Portage Parks and Recreation Youth Fall Soccer League will close on Friday, August 15. You may sign up at the Park Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or online at www.inportageparks.com until midnight on Friday. The cost is $50 per child for a Portage resident and $60 per child for a nonresident. The program is open to boys and girls ages 3-14. High school students are not eligible to play. The Portage Parks Department will be hosting a Yard Sale for Kid’s items on Saturday, September 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of the Woodland Park Preschool. To rent a booth please contact the Park Department at 219-762-1675.
Woodland Park Preschool has a few spots remaining for our preschool. Children must be between the ages of 3-5 years of age by August 1st and potty trained. Cost for our Tuesday-Thursday classes are $75.00 per month for Portage residents and $85.00 per month for non-resident. Our Monday-Wednesday-Friday classes are $80.00 per month for Portage Residents and $90.00 per month for non-residents. Please hurry so you do not miss out on our Ice Cream Social for our registered students on August 14, 2014 at 6:00pm located in Sycamore Hall. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and meet the teachers. We will also be raffling off 2 backpacks with all their school supplies.
