Len Clark, Ph.D. an award-winning multimedia journalist, storyteller, and educator, has been named a 2025 Kiplinger Fellow in Public Affairs Journalism. The prestigious fellowship, housed at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, recognizes journalists committed to advancing the highest standards of public affairs reporting.
Clark, known for his coverage of Notre Dame athletics and leadership in digital storytelling, will join a select group of global journalists to focus on emerging trends in media, technology, and public affairs reporting. This year’s program, which will run from March 23-28, will focus on the ethical use of artificial intelligence and the AI tools used in storytelling.
“This opportunity allows me to continue exploring how AI technology can enhance traditional journalism and to get a glimpse into the future,” said Clark. “Being with early AI adopters from around the world will be an added bonus.”
The Kiplinger Fellowship, established in 1973, has helped shape the careers of more than 500 journalists dedicated to impactful storytelling and public service journalism.
