AP Government Class
Students in Mrs. Wysocki's AP Government class (Miss Nye's former AP History students) participate in a circle dance from the Civil War era! Miss Nye Dresses in full period costume to teach the students how to "speed date" in the 1800's! Nye (pictured with PHS student Sara Dailey) also participates in Civil War reenactments in her free time.

Guidance Department
Josephine Vogt is a foreign exchange student at Portage High School. Her home is Norway. Josie has been at PHS since August and returns to Norway in June. She is no stranger to the United States. She visits family in Florida every summer. She is enjoying her experience at Portage High School. She says, "Portage has a lot of energy. I love the school spirit. The teachers are amazing. Portage is a good place to see the real American culture."
