Dental Careers
Porter County Career and Technical Dental Careers students recently enjoyed a day of Challenge Education at Woodland Park. Kate Sorensen (Student Support Coordinator) and Rhonda Doane (Dental Teacher) led students in activities promoting leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, collaboration, productivity, conflict resolution, and trust.
MCJROTC
PHS MCJROTC Drill Team competed in it's first drill meet in Michigan City on 21 November 2015. The Indians accorded themselves well in Michigan City carrying 1st Place in Academics, 1st Place in Uniform Inspection, 2nd Place in Unarmed Drill Platoon, 3rd Place in Unarmed Exhibition and 3rd Place in Armed Exhibition. Portage also claimed 1st Overall and carried the day for the Indians.
