Math Classes
Students in Mr. Hodges, Mrs. White, and Mr. Wilkens' math classes take advantage of IPads, IXL, and Schoology to work assignments. The school's addition of IXL for math students allows students extra practice on various topics in Algebra I and II. Also notice that a student is using his smartphone to access Schoology. The use of technology continues to add differentiated learning opportunities to PHS classrooms.
World History Class
David Warmick participates in a "Jigsaw" activity in Mr. Erickson's Pre-AP World History class.
MCJROTC
Portage High School Marine Corps JROTC participated in the Chicagoland Drill Meet on 6 Feb 2016. The PHS MCJROTC Drill Team finished 4th Place Overall (of 17 schools) and won 2nd Place in Armed Exhibition, 3rd Place in Uniform Inspection and 5th Place in Unarmed IDR. It was a great day to be an Indian!
