Students at Portage High School participated in a contest in an economics class (contest lasts from now until the January 9) in which they “buy” stocks and follow them throughout the semester. It’s all done online through a website called www.howthemarketworks.com. The person that makes the most money wins! It’s a lot of fun, and a good way to learn about stocks!
