On February 15th, the 10th annual Latino Student Legislative Summit took place in Indianapolis. PHS was proudly represented by four of our students- David Miller, Sofia Serrano, Angelica Lopez, and Dillion Quinones.
While a the summit our students attended a Young Professionals Seminar, met with Indiana Representative Moseley (who is from Portage!) regarding a bill he was trying to pass, learned more about immigration law, attended the General Assembly, and finally met with Governor Pence who spoke about leadership. This was a great opportunity for our students to take advantage of and we are very pleased that they did.
