Students in French 2 have been learning about traditional downtowns of France. They've been studying the vocabulary and culture associated with both old and modern down towns. They worked in pairs to create their own downtowns. This helped to internalize the vocabulary as well as the culture (city lay outs in France). Next, they will be using their downtowns to give directions and help people get from point A to point B. In a real-life scenario, this would be a very important skill to have.
