GIRLS TENNIS:
The Varsity Lady Indians tennis team improved their record to 12-6 (3-4 DAC) by defeating conference rival LaPorte 3-2. Winners for Portage were Carly Bermes, Britni Novina, and the doubles team of Bre Harvey and Amanda Klenk. The JV team lost a well-fought match 3-5, with winners being the doubles team of Lauren Zack and Alyssa Tampier, Devan Doherty and SIndey Hawkins, and Stefanie Nanney in singles. The JV record is now 12-3 (4-3 DAC).
