Portage faced a tough Valpo team on their home turf on September 28, 2010 celebrating the Lady Indians' Senior Night. Portage came out with excitement on their toes at the 
beginning of the game, but Valpo caught them off guard, scoring two goals in the first half. The Lady Indians wouldn't go down that easy though, notching up the score in the second half at 2-2, displaying their perseverance and stamina. This would send the game into overtime, double overtime, and eventually a shootout where Valpo barely edged the Portage girls 3-1.Way to go Lady Indians for giving it everything you had!
