The Portage Exchange Club's annual Charity Raffle for Kids is in high gear. Win $10,000 or a brand new Ford Focus with twelve other cash prizes possible. Only 1500 tickets will be sold. If fewer than 1200 tickets are sold, the grand prize will be 50% of the money collected. Proceeds will go to the Needy Kids Christmas Shopping Event and other local charities that benefit children.
The drawing will be held August 20, 2011, at the Portage VFW Post 7760, 2803 Monnier Street. The $25 ticket price entitles the bearer to food and beverages at the VFW picnic.
Purchase tickets from any Portage Exchange Club member, at the Portage VFW, or at the Portage Ace Hardware on Central Avenue. For further information or to purchase tickets, call 762-5764 and ask for Mike or Linda.
