The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will host a one-hour seminar free to the public concerning myths and facts about wills & trusts on December 4 at 8 am at the Portage 16 IMAX conference room.
The program will be conducted by Attorney Scott McClure from the Rhame & Elwood law firm in Portage, and will include a discussion of changes in federal estate taxes and Indiana inheritance taxes. Also, advantages and disadvantages of wills versus trusts and ways to avoid costly mistakes will be discussed.
Complimentary refreshments will be available. The seminar is one of a series of free seminars offered through the Chamber's Rise & Shine Portage series every first Wednesday each month at 8 am held at changing venues (no program January 1, 2014).
