Portage Boys & Girls Club Welcomes Letic as New Program Director

BGC-Steve-LeticThe Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County announced the promotion of Steve Letic as the new Program Director for the Forrest L. “Dusty” Rhode-Portage Boys & Girls Club.

Letic began working for the Portage Boys & Girls Club in 2006 with various positions working as the Healthy Habits Coordinator and as the Portage Club’s gym supervisor. For the past year, Letic has served as Site Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs Kidstop location located within the Discovery Charter School in Porter.

Letic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs and will receive a Master’s Degree in Public Administration/Management in December 2011. In addition to shared responsibilities for general club programming, Letic will coordinate and supervise all teen area activities including all basketball, soccer and volleyball leagues in both gymnasiums.

Steve has a great rapport with the club members and takes great pride in being a mentor. We are confident he will continue to complement our programming,” said Dawn Bell, Unit Director for the Forrest L. “Dusty” Rhode Portage Boys & Girls Club.
