Portage Baseball Celebrates Senior Day with Win over Morton

VARSITY BASEBALL:
The Varsity Baseball team beat Morton 7-2 on Senior Day.  Dylan Ozbolt picked up the win, while Eric Espinosa pitched 3 solid innings in relief.  Myles Mendoza hit a 3 run homerun, while Tommy Mosley, Nate Ramian, Michael Torres, and Giovanni Taylor each had 2 hits for the Indians.  The baseball team opens Sectional play tonight against Hobart at Crown Point. Their record is now 16-10 (6-8 DAC).

JV BASEBALL:
The JV Baseball team lost to Valpo last night 6-3 making their final record 13-12 (7-8 DAC).  Zach Simmons was 3 for 3 and Andrew Brown had 2 hits for Portage.
