Guest speaker Marsh was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at age 36 and had three young children at home. At that point, she started on a quest to eliminate harmful chemicals from her life and environment. Marsh will educate the audience on the topic of becoming a self-advocate for their own environmental health. Audience members will get a glimpse on why harmful ingredients are in household products and cleaning products, what their choices are and how to become a more vigilant consumer.

Now a proponent for environmental health, Marsh's passion is to share her knowledge and journey with others. She explains, "So many people are reluctant to make changes in their lives because they think it's going to be expensive or time consuming. But making little changes over time in the products we smother on our skin, foods we devour, and surroundings we immerse ourselves, doesn't have to be difficult."

She is the author of the newly released book "Little Changes" and she will be signing copies of the book, which can be purchased for $15.99 the day of the luncheon.

She has been recognized by "Prevention Magazine's" Picture of Health' Clean Water Action's 2011 John O'Connor Award, "Healthy Living Magazine's" Champion of Health 2010 Awards and Greenschool's 2009 Outstanding Leadership Awards

Tickets must be paid in advance. Questions regarding the luncheon should be directed to PNCWA member Debra Pratt at 219-784-5486.
