PNC Introduction to The Art of Stained Glass Course

Purdue University North Central Office of Continuing Education will offer a non-credit beginner's class on stained glass design. This stained glass course is for those who have never worked with stained glass, or for those who have a very elementary knowledge. PNC

"Introduction to the Art of Stained Glass" will meet Tuesdays, Sept. 14-Oct. 12, from 6 to 9 pm. The registration fee is $169, which includes project materials. A minimal supply list will be furnished at time of registration.

Students will learn how to cut glass, how to work with copper foil and the proper way to solder. Patterns and styles of window design will also be covered as will the tools of the trade, as well as most of the materials and various types of glass. When this course is completed, participants will have a finished project to show for it, as well as a mastery of the basic skills used in the craft of stained glass.
