The Portage High School softball team will begin its state title aspirations with an opening round match-up against Duneland Athletic Conference rival Michigan City.
Playing in the Crown Point Sectional (Class 4A, Sectional 2), the Indians are joined by the Wolves of Michigan City, along with Crown Point, LaPorte, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Chesterton, and Hobart.
The first game begins at 4:30pm CT on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2011 at Crown Point, be sure to head over and root on your Indians!
