The Varsity Softball team defeated Lake Central 11-10 yesterday in extra innings to make their record 3-2 (1-0 DAC). Kristen Ashby, Rhi Smolar, Dani Bryan & Kylie Someson all had 2 hits; Haley Hodges had 2 hits & 3 RBI’s; and Nikki Cloyd had 1 hit for Portage. Natalie Korpak struck out 7 in 6 2/3 innings.
