VARSITY SOFTBALL:
The Varsity Softball team lost to Chesterton 5-3 last night making their record 8-4 (4-2 DAC). Natalie Korpak pitched 3 innings with 1 strikeout; Kylie Someson pitched 3 with 2 strikeouts. Kristen Ashby, Dani Bryan, Haley Hodges, Dani Lynch, Nikki Cloyd and Natalie Korpak all contributed on offense.
JV SOFTBALL:
The JV Softball team lost to Chesterton 1-0 making their record 6-3 (3-3 DAC).
Player Highlights:
Lauren Murray went 1for 3 with a triple and Morgan Eastridge and Katie Peksenak also added hits for Portage.
