phs-signThe boys’ varsity golf team split last night’s match by beating LaPorte 161-164 and losing to Valpo 161-145.

Varsity softball beat Merrillville 18-0
Kiley Jones went 4-4 with 2 doubles, a homerun and 3 RBI’s
Kaitlin Doud threw a 1-hitter to get the win. She also had 3 hits and 2 RBIs
Haley Hodges added 3 hits with a double and 3 RBIs
Dalton Minor had 2 hits with a double and 5 RBIs

JV beat the Pirates 17-0
Ashley Belt threw a no hitter!!! And went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles
Sydney Condiff went 3 for 4 with a double, grand slam, a walk, and 5 RBIs Andrien Hall went 2 for 2 with a double

The varsity baseball team lost to Valparaiso 13-2. Kevin Jones had 2 hits for the Indians. The baseball team plays Lake Central at home on Friday.

JV lost 14-11.

Last night the boys track team picked up two wins defeating Michigan City 115-17 and defeating LaPorte 82-50. First place finishers included Taylor Sebben in the 200 meter dash with a personal record of 23.39 and the 110 meter hurdles with another personal record of 15.73. David Clegg won the 400 meter dash, Lucas Sullivan won the 3200, and Lorenzo Wells set a personal record winning the 300 hurdles. The 4x100 relay team of Dushaun Holmes, Lorenzo Wells, Jared Nieves, and Nathan Cherry and the 4x400 relay team of David Clegg, Tommy Martin, Gemel Tribble, and Lorenzo Wells also took top honors. Other standout performances included Danny Mills setting two personal records in the hurdles, Diondre Griffin and Avery Sanders in the long jump, and Tyler McCann in the shot put. The team travels to Rensselear Friday night and Huntington on Saturday.

Girls’ varsity and JV tennis teams lost to Chesterton 5-0.
