PHS Baseball Team Defeats Michigan City, Advances to Sectionals Final

The Varsity Baseball team advanced to the Sectional final by beating Michigan City 5-4.  Cody Jackson pitched 4 innings to pick up the win, while Mike Brunner came in and threw 3 shut out innings to pick up the save.  Nate Ramian and Gabe Acevedo who each had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s led the offense for Portage.  Come support the Indians as they play for their first Sectional title in 15 years at Crown Point.  The game begins at 7 tonight.

Overall record is: 18-10 (6-8 DAC).
