Boys’ varsity soccer beat Hobart on Saturday 2-0

The girls cross country team placed 2nd out of 16 teams at the Bob Thomas Invite at Lowell on Saturday. Top 20 finishers were, Rebecca Timm 5th, Rhyan Sloan 7th, Paige Pizer 10th, Madison Allen 11th, Erin Reynolds 15th and Haley Orshonsky 17th. Portage placed 2nd in the reserve race, top ten finishers were Stephanie Waters 2nd, Mariah Blackwell 4th, Autumn Brown 6th, Delaney Barcelli 8th and Keanna Crum 9th. The team travels to Lake Central to race against LC and Crown Point on Tuesday

The Portage Boys Cross Country Team took 4th at the Bob Thomas Invite on Saturday. Outstanding runs by Lucas Sullivan, Antonio Chapa, Jake Thielbar, Dustin Balboa, David Clegg, Tylor Hudson, Tommy Martin, Collin Longmore, and Brandon Will.

Girls golf was 11th out of 16 at Friday’s invite.

Freshman volleyball went 1-3.
