Varsity softball beat the M’ville Pirates 10-0. Haley Hodges went 3-3 with 2 homeruns and a double and 5 RBI’s Lauren Murray went 3-4 with a double and an RBI, Kaitlin Doud 2-3 and Heather Zengler struck out 8 to get her 4th win. JV won 28-0 (yes 28-0) Alex Samuels went 3-5 with a triple. Lauren Winicky had 3 hits with 2 triples. Rachel major went 4-5 and Ashley Belt 2-4.
The Indians improved to 15-3 on the season, beating Merrillville 6-5. Andrew Brown led off the 6th with a laser to right field & stole 2nd & 3rd to set up the game winning run & scored on a Justin Newcomb sac fly. Eric Mesarch also doubled in the win. JV baseball won 11-3.
The varsity and JV tennis teams both won 5-0. MVP goes to #3 singles Lauren Zack.
