The varsity baseball team improved to 2-0 in DAC play & 8-0 overall, by beating Merrillville 9-4. Dave Jercha struck out 8 in the complete game outing. Gabe Acevedo led the way at the plate with 2 hits and 4 RBI. Travis Marsh had double, while Dave Jercha drove in 2 runs in the win.
The JV baseball team beat the M’ville Pirates 11-1. Cody Bruns pitched 7 innings giving up one run and striking out 9. Peter Psomadelis had 4 RBIs. Sam Schest, Jon Velez and Chris Klenk all added 2 hits each.
The varsity softball team beat M’ville 12-2. Kaitlin Doud struck out 9 to get her 3rd win of the season. Dalton Minor went 3 for 4, Morgan Eastridge added 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Lauren Murray went 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs and Katie Peksenak added 2 hits and 2 RBIs.
Both the varsity and JV tennis teams beat Griffith 5-0. Lauren Zack was the MVP at #3 singles.
