Final Team Results from the Girl’s sectional Track meet
Portage Lady Indians Track and Field 2013 Sectional Champions.

Sectional Champions for 2013: (Athletes taking 1st place in their event) the 4x800 Meter relay team of Page Pizer, Kyra Ball, Rhyan Sloan and Keanna Crum with a time 9:49.48. The 4x100 m Relay team of Shakiea Boyd, Jade McKnight, Rochelle Stubblefield and Victoria Ostrander setting a new School record of 50.07. Tara Kostelnik in the Shot Put with a throw of 39 feet 5 1/2 inches, Ashley Sosbe in the Dicus 136 feet 6 inches, Paige Pizer in the 800m run with a time of 2 minutes 21.94 seconds and Jade McKnight in the Long Jump with a jump of 17 feet-4 inches.
2nd Place finishers : Ashley Sosbe in the Shot Put with a throw of 38-4.75, Mackenzie Barcelli in the Pole Vault 9 feet 6, Allie Weiser in the High Jump 5 feet 2 inches.
Other Athletes advancing to the Regional Qualifying meet Tuesday: Kyra Ball in the 1600 meter run, Madison Kurtz in the 100 m Hurdles, Jade McKnight and Victoria Ostrander in the 100m dash and the 4x400 m Relay of Pizer, Crum, Ostrander and Stubblefield.

Jordan Henson recorded a hole-in-one at Robbinhurst on hole 7 using a 52 degree wedge from a 131 yards.
Varsity baseball lost to Michigan City 5-3 The JV Baseball team defeated Michigan City 13-3 on Tuesday.
JD Dickson pitched 3 perfect innings, followed by nice pitching performances by Jake Huettner and Hunter Kraynak. Kody McGuire was 3 for 3 with a double and a successful suicide squeeze. JD Dickson, Braden Majewski, Noah Simmons, and Ryan Helmacy each had two hits. Andrew Grace hit an RBI "walk-off" double to end the game and then got piled on by his loving teammates.
