The Purdue University Calumet men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference match to St. Xavier Saturday afternoon.
Kamil Szczesniak scored the lone goal in the match early in the second half, scoring off of a deflection from 10-yards out from the left side.
Jaime Prado (Chicago,Ill./Washington/SouthSuburban) led the Peregrines with four shots and two shots on goal in the match. Freshman keeper Miguel David (Spring Valley, Calif./Bonita Vista) finished the match with three saves in 90 minutes of play.
The Peregrines will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 7 in East Chicago, Ind., as they take on Calumet College of St. Joseph in a league matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
