Pediatrician Destiny Harrell-Washington, DO, is now helping families with their children’s healthcare needs as part of the staff at Franciscan Physician Network Broadway Health Center.
Dr. Harrell-Washington received her training at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. She did her residency at University of Illinois Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Her clinical interests include newborn care/NICU graduates, early childhood education and development and healthcare quality improvement.
“I chose to practice at Franciscan because I really identified with the principles of Franciscan, approaching the patient from a mind, body, spirit approach. As an osteopathic physician, I graduated from a school that also taught those holistic values, so that’s what I want to bring to Franciscan,” Dr. Harrell-Washington said.
