Opportunity Enterprises is seeking volunteers to work at the Mudathlon 3-mile race on July 20 at Graeber Family Farms in Boone Grove in Valparaiso, and will receive $10 for every volunteer who works at the event on behalf of OE.
The Mudathlon is a 3-mile course featuring over 40 fun and challenging mud obstacles, including creek crossings, a mud slide, heaping hay bales, a 100 yard long mucking mud pit, and a cargo net climb. Volunteers are needed for one six-hour shift – either 6:30 am – 12:30 pm or 11:30 am – 5:30 pm – and must be 14 years old or older. Volunteer jobs include packet pick-up and registration, water stations, course marshal, and finish line.
Pre-registration is required for all volunteers. To register as an OE volunteer, go to www.mudathlon.com, click “Volunteer,” then “Volunteer for NW IN,” and indicate “Opportunity Enterprises” as the affiliated agency. Volunteers should also be sure to mention OE when they check in on race day.
