Children with disabilities are typically excluded from summer camping,” shares Respite Supervisor Joshua Bougie, “so OE has decided to provide an opportunity for special needs children to enjoy a summer camp.”

Our beautiful respite home with its large wooded lawn and swimming pool provides a fun and relaxing setting and our staff members who are CPR and first aid certified, as well as specifically trained to work with individuals with disabilities, provide the support and expertise necessary for a great camp experience,” Bougie continues. “Our campers will be able to enjoy most of the typical summer camp activities, but will also receive the support they need to have a safe and fun week.”
