One-time utility bill assistance program for eligible Hoosiers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic

Dear Neighbor:

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) is offering a one-time utility bill assistance program to eligible Hoosiers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hoosiers that have lost a job, or had hours severely cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, may be eligible for up to $350 in utility bill assistance from the IHCDA. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is being funded from $17 million in additional federal funds through the CARES Act.

The deadline for filing for this assistance is July 31, 2020.
