NorthShore Health Center’s First Baby Shower

Baby-BottleNorthShore Health Centers hosts their first Baby Shower for 3rd trimester mothers on August 29th starting at noon as part of their Prenatal Care Coordination Program. Our baby shower is a fun way for our expectant mothers to get pregnancy and parenting education, group support by meeting other mothers going through the same stage of pregnancy, and receive baby care items to start their families off on the right foot. Just like any baby shower, NorthShore will provide refreshments, cake, and raffle prizes for those who attend.

The Prenatal Care Coordination Program was designed to assist expectant mothers through every stage of their pregnancy. The goal of the program is to promote early entry into prenatal care and to provide education to help reduce low birth weight and infant death. Whether it’s a first pregnancy, a single parent, or growing family with a second or third child, our coordination team is there to support a mother’s every need. In addition to prenatal visits and checkups, we offer information on breastfeeding classes, crib program, car seat education/installation, food assistance, prenatal dental care, housing programs and so much more.

NorthShore’s Prenatal Care Coordination Program is open to anyone at no cost whether you are a NorthShore patient or not. If you are enrolled in our Prenatal Care Coordination Program make sure to talk to your Care Coordinator to get details on attending our baby shower. If you are expecting but not enrolled in our program, it's not too late! Contact Evelyn Turner 219-763-8112 ext 5510 to enroll and join our baby shower festivities.
