Nicki Monahan, recently named a Portage High School Athelte of the Week, was named a "Peak Performer" by Region Sports Network:
"In an early season Duneland Conference matchup the Portage Indians fell to the Merrillville Pirates 58-50 on Wednesday night. Giving the Pirates all they could handle, junior Nicki Monahon dropped in 23 points adding five steals before taking the loss."
