New Smoke Free Air Law

nosmokinglogobyhegartydavidThe Indiana Smoke Free Air Law will be going into effect July 1, 2012. This law states that all public places, with the exemption of casinos/racino's, stand alone bars and private clubs that vote to continue to allow smoking, must adopt a smoke free workplace. There is a signage requirement as well. There must be a sign on all public entrances that states This establishment is Smoke Free by IN State law, and ALL businesses must post signage stating No Smoking within 8 Feet of entrance for all entrances of their establishments (15 feet in Valparaiso).
