Children filled the lobby of Nativity of Our Savior Church, all of them dressed in their Christmas best - shoes shined and hair combed - some fidgeting nervously, others laughing, but all of them eager and excited to show what they could to.

Inside the church, parents were seated. Candles were lit and the stage was set for the 2015 Christmas Show.
"This is the 10th presentation that I've done here at the school," said music teacher Jennifer Chandler. "This is one of my favorite bunch of kids so far. We've been working on this program since just after fall break... about six weeks of preparation."
Their hard work showed, as group by group, the students took to the stage to re-tell the nativity story, celebrating the birth of baby Jesus.
"I like to let the kids know that we are all here to support them. We all love them and are just so proud of how hard they all worked to learn these songs. We've incorporated everything that they have learned so far this year in school into this program. I'm really happy with how well the students did. They are just amazing," said Chandler. "Our next show will be our spring program, which will be more secular in nature."
Jennifer paced the stage, gently giving encouragement to the students as one group left and another took their places and got ready to sing.
"This just... makes me feel validated. These kids are just wonderful. They keep me motivated. They keep me young. I just, I can't stop smiling," said Chandler, as parents clapped and cheered, clearly enjoying the students' performance.
"This is just... wow."
