Mitch Markovitz “Lake Michigan” Poster Now Available Online Through Dunes National Park Association

Mitch-Markovitz-Lake-Michigan-1Beginning this week, the Mitch Markovitz poster entitled, “Lake Michigan” is available for purchase through the Dunes National Park Association (DNPA) website for $30. The poster, a reproduction of an original Markovitz painting created for the launch of the DNPA, features sand dunes and the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan along with a vibrant horizon at sunset. To purchase the poster, visit www.dunesnationalpark.org and click on the “Get the Poster” button on the right. Proceeds from the sale of the poster will be donated to the DNPA.

Mitch Markovitz is a well-known and respected local born artist. Many of Markovitz’ pieces have showcased regional attributes. A former passenger conductor, Markovitz created several posters featuring the South Shore line. In addition to the DNPA, Markovitz has lent his talents to many other charitable organizations.

Dunes National Park Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The Dunes National Park Association exists to solicit funds for the benefit or support of Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and related activities, advocate on behalf of the park and educate the community on the abundant resources available in our national park.
