Methodist Hospitals COVID-19 novel coronavirus update March 17, 2020

During this period of uncertainty, Methodist Hospitals wants to keep you up to date about how our institution is reacting to the COVID-19 outbreak and the status of our services.

At this time, all of our outpatient services are open. This includes services such as Methodist Physician Group offices, urgent care centers, diagnostic imaging centers, and laboratory testing. Prior to an appointment or on arrival, all patients will be screened for symptoms.

We are committed to maintaining your continuity of care and we encourage you to keep any appointments you may have for needed services or tests your physician may have ordered.

However, as of March 17, 2020, surgeries that can safely be postponed will be rescheduled to a later date.

In addition, all of our support groups, classes and other community events will be postponed until after April 15, 2020.

Your safety and wellbeing is our paramount concern. We will provide regular updates on any changes in our services or facilities. In the meantime, if you experience symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath, please call your health care provider for instructions about how to get care without exposing others to your illness.
