Methodist Hospitals has appointed Albert Ferrabone as Director of Quality Services.
Albert brings to Methodist 25 years of experience in the management of quality, risk and patient safety in hospitals and health systems. He was most recently Chief Quality Officer at MCDonough District Hospitals in Macomb, Illinois.
His career has also included quality management positions at Metro Health – University of Michigan Health in Wyoming, Michigan, Chicago Health System in Westmont Illinois and SwedishAmerica Health System in Rockford, Illinois. He also has experience developing and coordinating quality improvement programs at health insurance companies in the Midwest.
He holds a Master of Public Health from New York Medical College, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Northern Illinois University.
Albert is a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP) by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
