Steve has been a Board Members of Friends of Portage Township Foundation, INC for three years. Steve currently serves on the Environmental Committee. He decided to join the Friends of Portage Township Foundation, INC in order to help improve the parks located in Portage Township. In his commitment to Portage Township, Steve hopes to restore the creek area at Haven Hallow Park.
Steve is currently retired and has lived in Portage Township for 44 years along with his wife, Patty. Steve and Patty have two sons, Dan and Doug. Steve is also a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Friends of Portage Township Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in June 2011 to support the Portage Township Dept. of Parks and Recreation. Governed by a twelve member volunteer board, initiatives are underway to raise funds for the growth and development of Portage Township Parks.
