Meet Elleah, Center for Hospice Care’s Community Education Coordinator

Meet Elleah, our Community Education Coordinator! She's been part of our team for about 2.5 years!

What do you do at The Hospice Foundation?
My role is to help develop the Center for Education & Advance Care Planning program as well as create end-of-life educational opportunities throughout the community. The CEACP is involved in several community events such as “Death by Chocolate” as well as Panel Discussions which have just transitioned to a virtual platform! These events are designed to normalize the conversation about the end of life. Additionally, my goal is to continue to create lasting partnerships with organizations that help educate the community about end-of-life conversations and advance care directives. As the #MyHospice Ambassador, I have met with legislators to advance conversations and bills related to hospice and palliative care nationally and for the state of Indiana. As a founding member of this grassroots initiative, I am focused on creating lasting relationships with Indiana’s local and legislative members.

What do you love about The Hospice Foundation?
I love working with a group of people who truly strive to engage and care for our community. I’ve never seen a community quite like this one and it’s amazing that I get to be a part of it.
