Mayor Olga G. Valzquez presents the Public Safety Summit 2010, to be held Tuesday, September 21 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Portage High School West Auditorium. Featured speakers include Mayor Olga G. Velazquez, Portage Police Chief Mark Becker, Porter County Prosecutor Brian Gensel, Assistant United States Attorney Phillip Benson, Porter County Commissioner Robert Harper, and Portage Township School Superintendent Michael J. Berta.
Topics to be discussed include internet safety, safety issues facing students, and crimes facing the community. Come out and support the City of Portage and learn more about how we can promote safety in our community!
