Portage Public Library Presents: Lyric Opera Lecture Series opera

All lectures will be held at 7:00 pm at the Portage Public Library, located at 2665 Irving St in Portage. Each program, presented by a Lyric Opera Corps member, will include background information on the opera and composer, plus musical excerpts. For more information, call 763.1508.

  • December 6: The Mikado composed by Gilbert & Sullivan presented by Belinda Potoma
  • January 10: The Girls of the Golden West composed by Giacomo Puccini presented by Barbara DeBolt
  • January 31: Lohengrin composed by Robert Wagner presented by Michael Fish
  • January 25: Hercules composed by George Frideric Handel presented by Carl DiNello
