Walking into the Lubeznik Center for the Arts, attendees were immediately surrounded by an atmosphere full of creativity and design. Today the center hosts a fashion show entitled Runway Revolution.
The show was performed in two acts. Act one featured fashion forward student designs. Fashion design students from regional colleges competed in creative design, wearability and Workmanship for Critics Choice, People’s Choice and Best of Show awards and the opportunity to display their work here in a future LCA exhibition.
Act two was the Vintage Wedding Wear by Rock Star Designer. The Bridal Registry at the Gallery Shop officially kicks off with this rocked-out vintage wedding wear for women and men by “designer to rock stars,” Liz Meyer of Silver Moon Chicago.
"I thought it was an excellent opportunity to see student work coupled with bridal wear so you can see the beginning of someone's career and the accomplishments of someone's career in balance. I think it was a great event for all that attended," Marketing Director Becky Jascoviak said.
