Evening with Santa
All families are invited to an affordable holiday celebration on Fri., Dec. 6 at 5:30-8 pm. Visit with Santa, play games, make crafts, enjoy a pasta or hot dog dinner, and more. Take a photo with Santa and then make a picture frame in Santa’s Workshop. In the Peppermint Palace, children will participate in nail painting, hair streaking, and tattoos. Finish the night with a trip to Santa’s Sweet Shoppe for “Make Your Own Sundae” Bar. Activity tickets will be purchased at the event for a nominal fee. Pre-purchase dinner tickets at the Y for $3.50 and receive a free dessert. Dinner tickets will be sold at the event; bring a canned good for free dessert.
Youth Indoor Basketball CLINIC AND LEAGUE II
Boys and girls, get active and learn new skills while making friends. Clinic for grades 4-6 runs Dec. 9-13 at 4-5 pm. Register by Nov. 22. League for ages 3-13 begins Jan. 6.
Turkey Trot
Get your exercise in before the big feast! Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 28. Run to compete in the 4 Mile Run, or run, jog or walk for fun in the 5K Fun Run. Includes a 1K fun run for the kids. Open to all ages in the community! 1K begins at 7:15 am; 4 Mile Run begins at 7:30; 5K Fun Run begins at 7:35 am. Walk-in registration the day of event begins at 6:30 am. Shirts will be available to purchase for $10 at the event while supplies last. Register at the Y Welcome Center.
